Each session begins with a science lesson, followed by a lab or experiment that gives students hands-on experience. Occasional math worksheets reinforce the skills behind the discovery.
Working as a volunteer at Serna Elementary was one of the highlights of my year! Getting to know each student inspired me to be the kind of role model I wish I’d had in elementary school.
